Derek's signature deck is a 5.6" Horizon with a graphic illustrated by Daniel Rey. Derek's deck comes with a completely flat bottom that will give riders catch-free grinds on the crustiest of ledges. It also comes with rounded dropouts which have a larger balance point for 5-0 grinds. It does also come with spacers for 24 and 30mm wide wheels! Derek is an incredible rider with a mind-bending trick selection, picking up his deck won't give you access to it, but everybody will know that you are repping a quality person and rider.
Here is what Derek had to say about his deck, "What’s up, I’m Derek Marr. Born, raised, and currently living in San Diego, CA. I’ve been riding scooters for 8 years now and I’m thrilled to be dropping my “first” signature deck! When North contacted me about working on a deck my first thought was to hit up a great guy by the name of Daniel Ray, and I was super stoked to hear that he was down to work with me! Big shoutout to him for the help in making this possible for me, without him I would have been totally lost. The idea behind the graphic wasn’t totally specific but I knew I wanted it to represent nature, hence why I had Daniel replicate a bit of Yosemite Valley in the foreground, a place I’ve loved since I was young. I also had Daniel throw in some more little plants and also let him go a little crazy himself. I have always been attracted to Daniels's artwork, so I knew I’d enjoy whatever he added! Anyways, I am very thankful to have the opportunity to release my own signature deck as well as having a lovely graphic made by Daniel Ray.
