The Alex Shaw V2 deck brings a series of meaningful upgrades built on years of deck design experience. The reinforced blunt plates are now welded directly inside the 5-channel extrusion, keeping the welds fully protected from wear. The footspace has been increased by 1/2" over the previous version thanks to hidden internal reinforcement, while the thinner base provides improved deck feel and control. Neck and headtube cutouts are carefully shaped to reduce weight without compromising strength. The 14mm dropouts feature our DropGuard technology, making them three times thicker than standard dropouts. Metal plates welded to the load-bearing section of the deck increase the axle contact area and reduce wear, all without adding unnecessary weight. The Alex Shaw V2, Vlad Shishov V2, and Catharsis decks all share the same base. The difference between them comes down to engraving design and the shape of the neck and headtube cutouts, giving each rider a deck that feels personal vibe.
