Bryan’s roots in skateboarding run deep, and that influence shapes his entire kendama journey. The decision to print SCAGS and KROM across the tama pays homage to classic BAKER deck graphics — evoking the feeling of walking into a skate shop and grabbing your favorite pro’s board because you saw a piece of yourself in that skater.
The name MAGNOLIA represents bloom and rebirth — a reminder that every session is a fresh start, a chance to progress and grow. And of course, the goofy smileys printed on both the ken and tama serve as the final touch. They’re there to keep players grounded, reminding everyone that kendama isn’t life or death — it’s peace, it’s play, and it’s supposed to be fun.
