Park scooters are complete scooters that come with parts that would benefit ‘park’ style riding. This does not mean that they can only be used in skateparks and that only park scooters are able to be used in skateparks, though, as this is a common misconception. ‘Park’ riding is a style of riding that emphasizes getting a lot of air out of ramps and doing lots of tricks and combos in the air, so these scooters come with parts that help with those tricks.

A park scooter typically comes smaller and much more lightweight than a street-style scooter. They are much more aerodynamic and make many park tricks easier to do, such as flips, spins, multiple tailwhips, brilfips, etc.

Park scooters are oriented for ‘park’ riding so they come with components that will help with ‘park’ style tricks. Park scooter decks come slightly smaller, making it easier to pop and do overhead tricks at the cost of not having as much foot space or grind space as a larger, heavier ‘street’ style scooter.
