Five Luck was officially launched in 2015, but the owner, Burt Tunstall, had been honing his craft by creating hundreds of fingerboard decks before even considering selling them. Burt's hard work and dedication led to the development of the Five Luck molds, which have been praised to the highest degree by the fingerboarding community. His wood dyes are in a similar light; the brightness and saturation of their veneers are some of the best!
The Fu mold was designed in 2016 as a high-performance, overall medium shape. Fu decks feature a nose that is slightly steeper and longer than the tail. It also features their standard Five Luck concave which has been constructed around a standard length wheelbase. Both beginners and riders of advanced skill will feel comfy on a Fu right away.
The Bisco mold is designed for those who prefer a deck with lower kicks. The union of lower kicks and medium concave allows riders to keep tricks lower and more realistic without struggling with flips as on low concave decks. The Bisco mold also features a true twin tip, meaning that it has identical kicks for the nose and tail.
