The elusive Jay Wheel is finally back. After originally producing a few batches years ago, the exact material formula was lost, and it took nearly six years of trial and error to recreate it. Now it’s back, and this time the formula is here to stay. In terms of feel, the Jay material is more grippy than standard FlatFace wheels, but it is not urethane. Compared to urethane, it is slightly harder and less grippy, with a smooth, controlled ride. The closest comparison would be the Blistered x FlatFace G4 72D Ultra, though the Jay Wheel is slightly harder, slightly less grippy, and offers a smoother overall feel.
Color brightness may vary slightly from batch to batch, and the material will continue to darken as it’s ridden.
Each wheel features real miniature ball bearings, just like a full-size skateboard wheel. They are compatible with all fingerboard trucks and are specially designed for optimal performance and durability with Blackriver trucks.
