The Teak Tuning Apex Globe Wheels feature a fully spherical shape with no flat contact patch, creating a ride that responds to finger pressure and bushing tension. As you lean, the contact point shifts across the wheel, giving the Globe shape a distinct feel compared to traditional fingerboard wheels. With regular use, the spherical surface will naturally develop a wear ring around the area you ride most.

Each wheel comes equipped with shielded, greased ABEC-9 bearings for a smooth, completely silent ride. Unlike Ultraspin bearings, these are not designed to free spin for extended periods, but provide a responsive, free-rolling feel while riding. Apex's integrated Bearing Pocket locks the bearing securely into the wheel to prevent it from backing out. This allows the axle locknut to be fully tightened without restricting the wheel's roll, while bearing removal requires a bearing press.

Every Apex urethane wheel is made in New York using custom compounds blended and poured in-house.
