The Street Prodigy X is the culmination of 9 previous generations and 12 years of pro-level scooters. The X has received the most significant overhaul yet and features an all-new deck extrusion, the Extech. The Extech reduces weight with a thinner profile but remains strong thanks to wider internal walls. The top of the deck has a comfortable amount of concave that also makes the deck more responsive. The Extech is now 5.5" wide and 21" long. This larger size provides more room to lock into grinds and more footspace for comfort. The length of the deck is a massive factor for younger riders, as the longer it is, the more difficult it is to maneuver. 21" is the perfect middle ground that won't overpower smaller riders but won't cramp larger riders looking for an agile wide deck. The Street's T-bar is now fully butted, which means its internal walls are varied in width. This allows for wider walls for increased strength where you need it but thinner walls where it's unnecessary to save weight. These parts roll on the all-new Sector 120mm x 26mm wheels. The increased width of 26mm only applies to the urethane, which helps create a more stable platform for manuals and fakies, but will also protect the core of your wheel to make grinds much smoother. These parts are held together by the industry's best compression system, SCS. A scooter's compression system holds your scooter together, and the Street X specifically uses the Essential 4-Bolt SCS Clamp and the Diamond Fork. SCS will hold your scooter together the best and yield the least maintenance. It's also been optimized to increase the lifespan of your fork, handlebar, and clamp.
The Street Prodigy X is an excellent option for street-style riding. Its larger components will lock into grinds more easily and accommodate taller riders. The deck length won't overpower younger/smaller riders who still need an agile scooter to learn, and it could be an excellent option for taller riders looking to focus on park-style riding but would like the larger width/footspace. Check out the standard version of the Prodigy X if you're looking for a park-focused scooter!
