Fabian Schreiter, or Afrobi, began fingerboarding in 1999 and remembers the magical nights where he would create fingerboard ramps out of cardboard. The graphic depicts exactly that and is a sight that every fingerboarder can relate to. Creating the first small wooden fingerboards, Timo Lieben from Berlin did great pioneer work in 2002. He has provided the young fingerboard scene, which had been used to plastic boards up to that time, with the first usable wooden fingerboards. Several generations of fingerboarders from all over the world appreciate and love Berlinwood fingerboards. Berlinwood fingerboards are made of five wooden plies. The Low sizes have a more mellow degree of concave that will require more precision to flip the board as intended. Apart from being manufactured by professionals, the fingerboards are “100% handmade in Germany“.
