This version of the Icon is 5.5"" wide, and comes with some significant upgrades from the smaller sizes. For example, the deck now comes with a completely flat bottom, improved blunt plate, reinforced headtube, and peg dropouts. The completely flat bottom and improved blunt plate was designed for buttery smooth grinds, and the reinforced headtube adds a lot more strength. The peg dropouts give a larger lock in point for grinds, so 5-0s, 50-50s, or other advanced grinds will be a breeze to lock into. One change that is likely to fly under the radar is the deck's axle system. The dropouts are designed to hold a nut in place, so only ONE allen key is needed to tighten the back end of the deck. Bringing the family toolbox from home is no longer needed! Who is this version of the Icon for? Due to the sizes offered, I think that this deck would work well in all styles of riding! The 20.9"" provides a lot of footspace, but is still very agile, and responsive. This size would be great for smaller street riders, or park riders looking for something more versatile. The 22"" version is definitely the size for larger riders looking for maximum comfort.
